ABOUT US
EPC is an electrical engineering company working primarily in the power and energy industries. EPC provides specialised consulting services to various clients ranging from energy companies to rail corporations and water authorities. In recent years, we have also expanded our portfolio by developing a statistical analysis system for schools - EdAnalysis. This system applies the analytic and mathematical principles from our power and energy work to analysing HSC results.

DIRECTOR: Dr Robert Arthur Barr BE(Hons),ME,PhD,FIE(Aust),CPEng,AFAIM

Robert commenced his career in the electricity supply industry in 1973 as a cadet engineer with Prospect Electricity. He was appointed as a professional engineer with Prospect Electricity in 1976 & gained experience in electricity distribution including load forecasting and system planning.

Robert joined Illawarra Electricity as System Control Engineer in 1982 and was later appointed Area Manager Nowra with overall responsibility for electricity supply to 28,000 customers in the Nowra/Shoalhaven area of N.S.W. He has managed and worked for his company "Electric Power Consulting Pty Ltd" since 1990.


Marketing Manager: Anthony McCarthy BA. Hons (Syd), Assoc. Dip AMus.A (AMEB)

Anthony McCarthy is a specialised arts, event and marketing consultant. Having graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts and an Honours in English (2001), Anthony has worked extensively in various fields directing theatrical productions, managing university marketing campaigns & hosting large corporate events. From 2002-04 he managed the Campion Drama Competition which promoted drama in Catholic schools across NSW and from 2005-06 he was the National Director of Australia’s largest annual Catholic festival, Carnivale Christi. Whilst managing EdAnalysis, Anthony is also completing an MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management and is working as an event consultant to ACSA for their World Youth Day Sydney 2008 project.
